Why Buy from you and not costco or trader joe’s?
Though buying from Costco, Trader Joe’s, or other stores will be cheaper, that’s where the benefits end. Those stores do not carry many of the unique and beautiful flowers like Dahlias, Pansies, Zinnias and many more because those flowers do not travel well, and all of the flowers in the stores have to travel many miles to get to their final destination.
Most of those stores get flowers from South America, which are heavily sprayed with chemical pesticides. To learn more about this, please visit our about page. We grow all of our flowers with beyond organic practices. We never spray chemical fertilizers or any pesticides whatsoever, not even organic ones! We want to see as many insects, birds and reptiles on our farm as possible.
Another great thing about us is all of our flowers are waiting for you in buckets which means there is nothing that goes in the landfill. All of the stores have most of their bouquets in excessive plastic packaging.
Stores like Trader Joe’s and Costco will never be able to compete with us on the chemical free, uniqueness and beauty, quality, and freshness of locally grown flowers. You’re also supporting a local business and someone who lives and works in your community.
How Do DIY Floral Buckets Work?
We’ll pick your no more than 3 days before your event and you will come pick them up at the farm. If you’re a bride we’ll send you a video of how to arrange bridal bouquets, center pieces, and bud vases. We also have an option for an hour farm visit to see how the farm is run, and to be able to pick out certain flowers you may want in your buckets, this option is for weddings only. At the end of the event you’ll bring the buckets back, otherwise you’ll be charged for them.
Will I get exact colors and flowers I want?
No, we can only do a general color pallet, and there is absolutely no guarantee on exact kind of flowers. As mentioned above, if you choose to do a farm visit, we’ll try our best to include flowers you picked out during the farm visit. Again, this option is for weddings only.
How do I know how many buckets I need?
Please contact us with information about your event. Please include the date and a general idea of how many arrangements you’ll need and how big. We will advice you on the number of buckets we think you’ll need. Bucket cost $150 for focal flowers and $100 for a mix of filler flowers and foliage.
